1962 -Holland- Kampen.
School for gold and silversmiths in Schoonhoven 1980-1984
3 years working in Singapore,
I also worked on the Crown jewels for the Sultan of Johor, Malaysia .
I started my own workshop, Atelier, and moved to the Middle East, Qatar.
I made a lot of jewellery for Qatary but also for expatriats.
I came back to Holland and I have spent a few years making cigar cases in silver,
as I did smoke a lot of big cigars at that time...
- I was the only one making customized boxes.
I returned to the jewelery when I quit smoking.
Always working alone is not very inspiring so I talked my sisters into making jewels,
one makes jewellery and we have exhibitions together, and talk shop all the time.
My other sister, Ine, is making the porcelain beads and objects.
We design some projects together and I love to work with them.
At the moment we have an exhibition at the SBK (stichting beeldende kunst ) in Amsterdam.
