Ann Catrin Evans is a designer maker working with metal, palm size to architectural. She is known nationally and internationally for her unique Door Furniture and Public Sculptures; one recent successful commission was the door furniture throughout the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay, and is currently working on a 10m tall stainless steel Town Sculpture for Porth in the Rhondda valley.
Techniques used are plasma, laser and water cutting, rapid prototyping, hot forging, casting, bending, welding, and electroplating.Since completing her BA Hons in 3D Design, Wood, Metal, Ceramics and Plastics at Brighton in 1989 Ann Catrin Evans has completed an impressive number of commissions in various materials, collected various awards, and her work has been shown in many important exhibitions.

bronze and aluminium client Percy Thomas Associates.
- Ceremonial Key which travelled the World, and giant Padlock for the WMC opening.
- Miniature replica cast bronze keys were gifts for guests and the Queen
- 6 Cymry'r Byd Awards, which were bronze trophies based on the Key design.
- The 1st Sian Phillips Award, which will be annually given by Cyfrwng Media Company.
